    Ink Absolution/Oil Non-Drying Anti-Aging Tattoo Soap is your daily tattoo oil wash soap. Use to wash your tattoo instead of any brand of traditional soap.  Then follow with daily usage in the shower instead of your normal wash. Blue Tansy essential oil is a natural anti-bacterial so your skin will be clean without being stripped. Even using natural based soaps like Dr. Bronner's still strips the natural oils and will start the drying process on your skin. Using an oil wash like Ink Absolution (Oil) will clean your tattoo and leave it hydrated and protected, rather than dry and tight. Ink Absolution (Oil) will also completely neutralize all that shower pain. No more burning or heated sensation in the shower, just apply Ink Absolution (Oil) upon entering the shower and all that pain will go away.

    Ink Salve All Natural Tattoo Ointment is the best lotion to put on tattoos.  Use throughout the day in THIN layers to help heal and to reduce drying. Err on the side of less is more when applying. We use organic, cold-processed coconut oil as the primary oil in Ink Salve. This means that our product will warm up to the temperature of your skin and will easily be rubbed in. No pressure needed to apply the salve. No more aggravating your tattoo. Ink Salve also makes an excellent glide during the tattoo process. We do suggest you purchase your aftercare kit before your tattoo and take this in for your artist to use. They will enjoy the superior glide and the great smell, and you will enjoy the soothing and calming effect on your skin.  Ink Salve will not blur their outlines. For intense dry skin, such as cracked heels, crepey skin, and sun damaged skin, use Ink Absolution (Oil) in the shower before washing, then follow with Ink Salve immediately after showering and then again right before bed.   • Ink Absolution/Oil is the first and most important step in our two-step process. When you receieve your kit, immediately put this bottle in your shower. Use in the shower instead of soap. Spray a little (1-3 pumps) into the palm of your hand, then use it to wash your tattoo.  Wash just the same way as you would with a foaming soap.  Proceed to wash the rest of your body like normal, do not re-wash the tattoo. Ink Absolution (Oil) will put a protective layer over the tattoo allowing the soap to run over it without stripping it. Towel dry like normal. This is the secret step to keeping your new and old tattoo safe from continual drying. 

    Ink Salve is rich in organic oils, soothing, long-lasting, and non-greasy skin care solution that will keep your tattoo looking its best. Ink Salve should be applied after showering with Ink Absolution/Oil Non-Drying Wash and be reapplied whenever the skin feels dry (about every other hour the first 72 hours after a tattoo). Ink Salve also works for soothing burns, scratches and bug bites and makes an amazing foot balm (ask for a foot massage today!).

  • How to Use on a New Tattoo

    1-Clean your tattoo with our Ink Absolution/Ink Oil (same product, we are just in the process of changing our name).
    ​2-Exit the shower and towel dry.
    ​3-Follow with a nice thin layer of our Ink Salve.
    ​4-Apply frequent thin layers of Ink Salve throughout the day, as needed.  Will not leave your skin coated, will not stick to your clothes and will not stain clothes.  After the first 72 hours, most people decrease the frequency of application.  Apply whenever your tattoo feels dry or tight.
    ​5-At night apply a thin layer of Ink Salve to the tattoo and then cover with a semi-loose fitting piece of clothing. This will just protect your tattoo from rubbing against the sheets and getting scratched or drying out.​

    ​Easy peasy....

     

    ​Directions for Use to Maintain an Existing Tattoo

    1-If you are having some kind of reaction to the ink in your tattoo or you are still battling some kind of scabbing on your tattoo, follow the steps from our Ink Absolution/Ink Oil. Using this as your first step of defense in the shower is the best way to allow your skin to start healing.
    ​2-If #1 does not apply to you, wash your body like normal.
    ​3-Towel dry as normal and then apply a thin layer of Ink Salve on your tattoo.  Can be used on new tattoos to heal them, and on existing tattoos to maintain them.
    ​4-About 10 minutes before bed, apply a thin layer of Ink Salve on your tattoos.  Allow to penetrate in.

     

    ​Done.....Ink Salve will help hydrate older tattoos and will work to maintain their color, firmness and tight lines.

  • Ink Zinc should be applied before any outdoor activity. Because this is a physical sun blocking agent, and not a chemical based product, it will leave a faint white sheen on your skin and it will take a few minutes to soak in. Apply a thin layer about 20 minutes before going into water to allow time to penetrate.

    Once out of the water, you may need to re-apply. You can tell if the Ink Zinc is still working by checking to see if water still beads up on your skin. Again, this is a physical agent, so a little more re-application may be necessary, but it is well worth not having chemical sun blocking agents on your skin.

    At the end of the day, make sure to wash Ink Zinc off your skin. If you have a brand new or healing tattoo, do not use Ink Zinc. You need to wear some kind of covering over your new tattoo to protect it from the sun, rather than applying a sunscreen. Once your tattoo is healed, Ink Zinc will help to keep the colors vibrant and will protect your work of art.
